The development of a new textile can take from one to three years. Sampling, testing and refinement shape every stage of the process until technical performance, tactile quality and visual identity reach a natural balance. The ambition is not simply to create something new, but to develop textiles with lasting relevance.

Research comes to life through craftsmanship. Based near Como, Dedar works in continuous dialogue with artisans, spinners, weavers, finishers and textile specialists, drawing on the expertise of one of Italy's most historic textile districts.

Every phase of production is entrusted to carefully selected manufacturers whose knowledge of materials and techniques has often been refined over generations. Most collections are produced in Italy, where craftsmanship and technological innovation continue to evolve together.
